Brazil Petrobras Q2 profit falls to 6.8 bln reais
RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Brazilian state oil company Petrobras (PETR4.SA)(PBR.N) posted on Monday a second-quarter net profit of 6.8 billion reais ($3.5 billion), down from 6.96 billion reais in the year-earlier period.
The result was above the 6.6 billion reais average forecast of five analysts surveyed by Reuters.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, a measure of cash flow known as EBITDA, rose to 14.2 billion reais from 13.6 billion reais.
