Volkswagen to invest $1 bln in Mexico plant

MEXICO CITY, July 14 (Reuters) - Volkswagen plans to invest $1 billion to expand its plant in the central Mexican state of Puebla to produce a new model in early 2010, a company spokeswoman told Reuters on Tuesday. (Reporting by Tomas Sarmiento, Julio Martinez; Editing by Derek Caney)
