Government of Jamaica files for $1 bln debt shelf
WASHINGTON, July 16 (Reuters) - The Government of Jamaica on Wednesday filed with U.S. regulators to periodically sell up to $1 billion in debt securities.
The government said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it will use the proceeds from the offering for general budgetary purposes. (Reporting by Karey Wutkowski)
