Williams says 250 mmcfd US Gulf gas cut on Transco

NEW YORK, July 22 (Reuters) - Williams (WMB.N) said Tuesday that Gulf of Mexico producers had cut about 250 million cubic feet per day of natural gas supply from its huge Transco pipeline system due to Tropical Storm Dolly.

"Transco has experienced approximately 250 mmcfd of production loss from offshore Texas as a result of TS Dolly," the company said in a Web site posting. (Reporting by Joe Silha; Editing by David Gregorio)
