Argentina plans two bond issues to refinance debt
BUENOS AIRES, Sept 22 (Reuters) - Argentina is planning to issue two bonds, one in pesos and another in dollars, to refinance debt that comes due between this year and 2011, a government source told Reuters on Monday.
The source did not say how large the issues would be, but said bank loans known as "guaranteed loans" would be targeted in the refinancing plan.
Economy Ministry figures show Argentina facing nearly $10 billion in payments on guaranteed loans through 2011. (Reporting by Lucas Bergman; Writing by Fiona Ortiz; Editing by Diane Craft)
