Exxon reports flaring at L.A. refinery -filing

HOUSTON, July 24 (Reuters) - Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) reported flaring at its 150,000-barrel-per-day (bpd) Los Angeles-area refinery in Torrance, California, on Thursday, according to a notice filed with Los Angeles-area pollution regulators.

An equipment breakdown was not involved in the flaring, according to the notice filed with the South Coast Air Quality Management.
