Ford Canada names David Mondragon president, CEO

TORONTO, Aug 25 (Reuters) - Ford Motor Co of Canada Ltd (F.N) said on Monday it has appointed of David Mondragon as president and chief executive, effective Sept. 1.

Mondragon, 47, replaces Barry Engle, who announced last week he would be leaving to take over as CEO of New Holland Agricultural Equipment SpA, a unit of CNH Global NV (CNH.N).

Mondragon has held a variety of roles in sales and marketing during his 23 years with Ford. He currently serves as general manager for the Southwest Region, Ford's largest U.S. sales region. (Reporting by John McCrank; editing by Rob Wilson)
