Mexico stocks sink by most in 4 months
MEXICO CITY, Oct 27 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks sank by the most in four months on Tuesday hurt by a drop in U.S. consumer confidence in October that undermined hopes for a quick recovery in the United States, Mexico's top trading partner.
The IPC stock index .MXX closed down 3.19 percent to 29,312.84 points, also weighed down by a more than 4 percent slump in index heavyweight America Movil (AMXL.MX), Latin America's top cellphone provider. (Reporting by Michael O'Boyle; Editing by Kenneth Barry)
