McCain, Obama to return to Senate for bailout vote

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept 30 (Reuters) - U.S. presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain will return to Washington on Wednesday to take part in the Senate's vote on a $700 billion financial rescue package, aides to both senators said.

McCain, a Republican senator from Arizona, and Obama, a Democratic senator from Illinois, have both urged lawmakers to revive talks on the bill to shore up financial institutions after the House of Representatives rejected it on Monday. (Reporting by Jeff Mason, editing by Chris Wilson)
