Samsung Elec sees Q2 op profit of up to 2.6 trln won

SEOUL, July 6 (Reuters) - Samsung Electronics Co Ltd (005930.KS), the world's largest maker of memory chips and flat screen TVs, said on Monday it expected to post a consolidated operating profit of 2.2 trillion-2.6 trillion won ($1.74 billion-$2.05 billion) in the April-June quarter.

Second-quarter consolidated sales are estimated at 31 trillion-33 trillion won, Samsung said in a filing to the Korea Exchange. (Reporting by Rhee So-eui; Editing by Jonathan Hopfner)
