Australia's Alumina suspends Wagerup expansion

SYDNEY, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Expansion plans for Australia's Wagerup alumina refinery have been suspended until market conditions for alumina, used to make aluminium, improve, Alumina Ltd (AWC.AX) said on Tuesday.

Alumina is the minority partner in the Alcoa World Alumina and Chemicals (AWAC) group, majority owned by U.S.-based Alcoa Inc (AA.N). (Reporting by James Regan)
