Toronto stocks hits record high as oils gain
TORONTO, May 12 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index hit a record high on Monday morning as technology and oil shares were strengthened by gains in Research In Motion (RIM.TO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and EnCana Corp (ECA.TO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz).
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 127.43 points at 14,648.62, breaking the previous record of 14,646.82. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Peter Galloway)
