CORRECTED-Taiwan's Chi Mei sees weaker Q4 PC LCD shipments

(Corrects headline and lead to clarify that the company forecast weaker PC panel shipments, but saw rising TV shipments in the fourth quarter)

TAIPEI, Oct 26 (Reuters) - Chi Mei Optoelectronics Corp (3009.TW), Taiwan's No.2 LCD maker, said on Monday it expects shipments of panels for computers to fall in the fourth quarter from the third quarter.

Finance Director Denis Chen gave the forecasts during a teleconference. The announcement came after the Taipei stock market closed on Monday.

Chi Mei shares finished down 0.6 percent, against the main TAIEX's 0.25 percent rise. (US$1=T$32.4) (Reporting by Baker Li and Argin Chang, Editing by Jonathan Hopfner)
