Taiwan stocks open lower, Hon Hai falls
TAIPEI, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Taiwan stocks opened 1.39 percent
lower on Monday after sharp losses on Wall Street, with Hon Hai
(2317.TW) leading losses even after the firm posted better than
expected third-quarter results.
The main TAIEX share index fell 101.78 points to 7,238.30, extending a four-session losing streak.
Electronics parts giant Hon Hai dropped 1.54 percent, with the electronics sub-index .TELI down 1.28 percent.
