Taiwan stocks edge up, memory chip makers gain

 TAIPEI, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Taiwan stocks edged 0.06 percent
higher on Thursday, with memory chip makers such as Nanya Tech
(2408.TW) surging on positive October sales.
 The main TAIEX share index  rose 4.57 points to
7,471.61, extending gains after posting its best daily rise in
one month in the previous session.
 Nanya Tech jumped 5.69 percent, while the electronics
sub-index .TELI inched up 0.08 percent.
