Taiwan stocks open higher; big techs gain

 TAIPEI, Nov 6 (Reuters) - Taiwan stocks opened up 1.33
percent on Friday, led by major technology exporters such as TSMC
(2330.TW) after sharp gains on Wall Street raised optimism over
the sector's recovery.
 Taiwan's main TAIEX share index  opened up 98.94
points at 7,516.40 even after a strong earthquake rattled Taiwan
after the market closed on Thursday. [ID:nTP132640]
 TSMC (TSM.N) shares rose 0.8 percent and the broader
electronics sub-index .TELI gained 1.3 percent.
