Geithner says vital to sustain recovery efforts

JEDDAH, July 14 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said on Tuesday there was a need to sustain efforts to promote the global economy's recovery.

He also said he was seeing a return of confidence to the U.S. banking systems, and an increase in corporate bond issuence.
