Steven Rattner leaving U.S. autos task force

WASHINGTON, July 13 (Reuters) - Steven Rattner is leaving as the day-to-day head of the U.S. autos task force that oversaw bankruptcy at General Motors Corp and Chrysler Group, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said on Monday.

Ron Bloom, a senior member of the task force, will take over for Rattner, who is returning to private life in New York, Geithner said. (Reporting by John Crawley)
