EU agency recommends against extended Taxotere use
LONDON, July 25 (Reuters) - The European Medicines Agency has recommended against extended use of Sanofi Aventis' (SASY.PA) drug Taxotere to treat HER2 positive breast cancer, the London-based watchdog said on Friday.
Recommendations for marketing approval by the agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) are normally endorsed by the European Commission within a couple of months. (Reporting by Michael Kahn)
