PARIS/MOSCOW, Nov 3 (Reuters) - Daimler Trucks (DAIGn.DE) will make a "very low" investment in its two planned joint ventures with Russia's Kamaz (KMAZ.MM) despite expectations demand could rebound there earlier than elsewhere in Europe.

"It will be much lower," Andreas Renschler told the Reuters Auto Summit on Tuesday, when asked how it would compare to the truckmaker's 700 million euro ($1.02 billion) investment in a new Indian site in Chennai.

Renschler declined to specify further, nor would he give an indication of when the agreement to form the JVs would be finalised, saying only talks were running smoothly.

When repeatedly asked about whether Daimler was comfortable with its 10 percent stake in the Russian truckmaker, he answered each time: "Yes."

A rebound in demand for Russia's abundant natural resources would mean that the country's truck market would likely recover quicker than other European nations.
