Fitch downgrades Michigan on economic deterioration

WASHINGTON, July 10 (Reuters) - Concerned about the "signification deterioration" of Michigan's economy, Fitch Credit Ratings downgraded the state's general obligation ratings on Friday.

It cut Michigan's general obligation bond rating to "A+" from "AA-" and revised Michigan's ratings outlook to stable from negative. (Reporting by Lisa Lambert)
