Wimm-Bill-Dann plans $150 mln investments, eyes CIS
MOSCOW, Sept 4 (Reuters) - Russian juice and dairy company Wimm-Bill-Dann (WBD.N) is planning investment of $150 million in 2009, of which it spent $29.5 million in the first six months of the year, Chief Executive Tony Maher said on Friday. Maher also said during a conference call that the company was pursuing expansion in the CIS, including acquisitions in Kazakhstan.
Wimm-Bill-Dann earlier on Friday posted a greater-than-expected increase in net profit for the second quarter, helped by lower raw material costs. [ID:nL4440613] (Reporting by Maria Plis, writing by Robin Paxton, editing by Melissa Akin)
