Schlumberger ups Eastern Echo bid to NOK 15/share
OSLO, Nov 16 (Reuters) - U.S. oilfield services group Schlumberger Slb.N raised its bid for Norway's seismic group Eastern Echo ECHO.OL to 15 Norwegian crowns per share from 12 crowns, Schlumberger said in a statement on Friday.
Schlumberger said it controlled 55.6 percent of all outstanding shares in Eastern Echo on a fully diluted basis, including holdings in convertible bonds.
It was the second time Schlumberger sweetened its unsolicited offer for Eastern Echo. (Reporting by Aasa Christine Stoltz)
