MADRID, July 22 (Reuters) - Spain's biggest-listed food producer Ebro Puleva said on Tuesday it had not received a 400 million euro ($637 million) offer for its sugar business from a government-controlled savings bank, as local media reported.

Ebro denied reports, published in media it did not name, that it had received a non-binding offer from Cajas de Ahorros de Castilla y Leon.

The company first said in May it could sell its sugar business. (Reporting by Ben Harding; editing by Sarah Morris)
