Yahoo CFO cancels conference appearance

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb 5 (Reuters) - Yahoo Inc (YHOO.O) Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen has cancelled a presentation at Thomas Weisel Partners technology investor conference in San Francisco, a Yahoo spokeswoman said on Tuesday.

Jorgensen's speech, previously scheduled for Wednesday, would have been the first public appearance by a Yahoo executive since Microsoft Corp (MSFT.O) said it planned to bid $31 a share last Friday. Yahoo has said its board is considering the deal but has declined further comment. (Reporting by Eric Auchard; Editing by Tomasz Janowski)
