BlackRock, Ameriprise may buy BoA's Columbia -report
NEW YORK, July 16 (Reuters) - BlackRock Inc (BLK.N) and Ameriprise Financial Inc (AMP.N) may buy pieces of Bank of America Corp's (BAC.N) Columbia Management, Pensions & Investments reported, citing unnamed sources.
BlackRock may buy Columbia's money market assets, while Ameriprise would take the long-term equity and fixed income business, P&I reported on its web site on Thursday.
A deal could be finalized over the next few days, it said.
