Solvay to open Innogenetics offer Aug 12-Sept 5
BRUSSELS, July 24 (Reuters) - Belgian drugs maker Solvay (SOLB.BR: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Thursday it planned to open its 6.50 euros per share offer for Innogenetics (INNX.BR: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) from August 12 to September 5.
Solvay increased its bid for Belgian biotech company Innogenetics (INNX.BR: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) earlier this month, beating off a rival offer from U.S. disease diagnosis firm Gen-Probe Inc (GPRO.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz). (Reporting by Philip Blenkinsop)
