Safran gets private equity offer for Sagem Comms
PARIS, Oct 28 (Reuters) - French conglomerate Safran (SAF.PA: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Sunday it had received an offer from U.S private equity firm The Gores Group for Safran's Sagem Communications telecoms and technology division.
Safran said The Gores Group would buy Sagem Communications for an enterprise value of 383 million euros ($550.3 million).
The Sagem Communications business had suffered poor financial results in recent years.
