AT&T says to buy Dobson for $2.8 billion
NEW YORK, June 29 (Reuters) - AT&T Inc. (T.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Friday it will buy rural wireless communications services group Dobson Communications Corp. DCEL.O for $2.8 billion in cash.
Under the deal, Dobson shareholders will receive $13 a share, a 16.9 percent premium over the company's closing price of $11.12 on Thursday.
