Man dies from injuries after Moldovan car blast

CHISINAU, June 7 (Reuters) - A man injured by a car blast in the Moldovan capital Chisinau on Tuesday has died in hospital, doctors said.

Moldovan tennis federation president Igor Turcan, who was passing by when a parked car blew up next to his office in the city centre, died from serious injuries, Liviu Vovc, the head of Moldova’s emergency rescue service, told Reuters.
