NEW YORK (Billboard) - Former Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale will release his first solo album, "Wanderlust," on June 3.

The Interscope release is led by the single "Love Remains the Same," which hit iTunes this week.

Rossdale's wife, Gwen Stefani, lends vocals to the track "Some Days." The album was produced by Bob Rock (Metallica) and finds Rossdale collaborating with drummer Josh Freese, guitarist Chris Traynor, bassist Paul Bushnell and keyboardist Jamie Muhoberac.

Rossdale and Traynor co-founded Rossdale's post-Bush project Institute, which released its sole album, "Distort Yourself," in 2005. It topped out at No. 81 on The Billboard 200 and has sold just 54,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
