BUENOS AIRES, Oct 2 (Reuters) - Argentine media and telecommunications company Grupo Clarin said on Tuesday in a presentation to the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange that it plans to raise $500 million to $600 million in a public offering of a 17.5 percent stake.

The company -- which has newspapers, television and radio interests, and cable and Internet access companies -- is 82 percent held by a group of Argentine investors and 18 percent held by Goldman Sachs (GS.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) investment bank.

Executives at the presentation did not say when the offer would be launched and they said division of the shares between local and international investors depended on demand in Argentina, which they anticipated would be high.

The company said 50 million ordinary shares would be offered in the public launch.
