Freddie Mac sells $5 billion in bills
NEW YORK, Oct 9 (Reuters) - Freddie Mac (FRE.N) said on Tuesday that it sold $3.0 billion of three-month reference bills due Jan. 7, 2008, at a stop-out rate, or lowest accepted rate, of 4.618 percent and $2.0 billion of six-month bills due April 7, 2008 at a stop-out rate of 4.520 percent.
The three-month bills were priced at 98.8583 and have a money market yield of 4.671 percent, according to Freddie Mac.
The six-month bills were priced at 97.7400 and have a money market yield of 4.625 percent.
Settlement is Oct. 10.
