WTO's Lamy says won't throw in towel on Doha

GENEVA (Reuters) - World Trade Organization chief Pascal Lamy said on Tuesday he expected he would attempt to revive the Doha talks for a global trade deal but it was not possible to say how or when it might happen.

"I will have to discuss this with the members but my initial reaction is not a reaction of 'throw in the towel,'" Lamy told reporters after nine days of talks failed to find a breakthrough on the core elements of the Doha round.
