WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President George W. Bush on Thursday issued a certification aimed at removing North Korea from the U.S. list of state sponsors of terrorism, hours after Pyongyang offered details of its nuclear activities.

"The government of North Korea has not provided any support for international terrorism during the preceding 6-month period," the certification said. "The government of North Korea has provided assurances that it will not support acts of international terrorism in the future."
