Israel's Olmert urges U.S. to keep pressing Iran
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert called on Tuesday for a U.S.-backed campaign to curb Iran's nuclear ambitions to continue despite a U.S. intelligence report that said Tehran had frozen its weapons program.
"We discussed this report with leaders of the (U.S.) administration," Olmert told reporters. "It is vital to pursue efforts to prevent Iran from developing a capability like this and we will continue doing so along with our friends the United States."
