Georgia summons Russia envoy over missile

TBILISI (Reuters) - Georgia is to hand a note of protest to Russia's ambassador over a missile Georgian officials said was fired into its territory, a Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said on Tuesday.

"We have summoned the Russian ambassador to Georgia to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to hand over our note of protest. We are also going to invite ambassadors of foreign states in Georgia to our ministry to discuss the situation," said Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Nino Kajaia.
