(Reuters) - Who gets the top jobs in the Kremlin now Dmitry Medvedev is president will shed light on the balance of power between the head of state and his predecessor Vladimir Putin, who will be prime minister.

Educated as a lawyer, Sobyanin was governor of the Tyumen region, one of Russia's richest oil-producing areas, before being made chief of staff by Putin.
