Web site says will show new bin Laden Sept 11 video

DUBAI (Reuters) - An Islamist Web site said on Monday it would soon show a video of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden presenting the last testament of one of the September 11 attackers.

The Web site carried a photograph apparently from the video, which resembled bin Laden's appearance in his latest video, issued on Friday. It did not say when the new video would be posted on the Internet.

Al Qaeda's media arm As-Sahab has in the past marked the anniversary of the September 11 attacks on U.S. cities by issuing videos of last testaments of the 19 hijackers.

Last year, Al Jazeera television aired an old video showing bin Laden meeting some of the hijackers.

In the video issued on Friday, the first from bin Laden in nearly three years, the al Qaeda leader said the United States was vulnerable despite its military and economic power, but he made no specific threats.

He urged Americans to ditch capitalist democracy and embrace Islam if they wanted to end the war in Iraq.

Analysts said the appearance could be a signal to his followers to launch new attacks.
