TBILISI (Reuters) - Georgia's Foreign Ministry on Monday said it had summoned Russia's ambassador to protest about what Tbilisi said was the shooting down of a Georgian drone by a Russian fighter jet.

"Russia's ambassador has been summoned to Georgia's Foreign Ministry to receive a note of protest in connection with the incident which took place on April 20, when a Russian fighter jet shot down a Georgian unmanned air vehicle," Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maka Gigauri said.
