(Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 2030 GMT on Sunday.

* BAGHDAD - A man and wife and their three sons were killed after a mortar or rocket attack hit their home in Sadoun area in central Baghdad, police said.

* BAGHDAD - Two people were killed and seven wounded in a mortar attack in Karrada district in central Baghdad. One other person was killed in a separate attack in eastern Baghdad.

* BAGHDAD - At least five people were wounded in Baghdad's diplomatic and government compound, known as the Green Zone, after coming under heavy mortar or rocket attack, a U.S. embassy spokesman said. Witnesses said there were at least three salvoes, several hours apart.

* BAGHDAD - Police said they found six bodies across Baghdad on Sunday.

NEAR TUZ KHURMATO - A roadside bomb killed four Iraqi soldiers while they were on patrol near Tuz Khurmato, 70 km (43 miles) south of the northern city of Kirkuk, the Iraqi army said.

BAQUBA - Gunmen killed a police lieutenant and wounded two policemen in an attack on a checkpoint in central Baquba, 65 km (42 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A suicide car bomber killed at least six people and wounded 10 others near a fuel station in Shula district, northwestern Baghdad, police said.

MOSUL - A suicide truck bomber attacked an Iraqi army base, killing 13 soldiers and wounding 42 others, including 12 civilians, in western Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

* MOSUL - A suicide car bomber attacked an Iraqi army checkpoint, killing one soldier and wounding eight others, including five civilians, in Mosul, said a spokesman for the city's Iraqi police and military operation.

SULAIMANIYA PROVINCE - Iran shelled PJAK Kurdish rebel targets in Iraq's Qandil mountains but caused no casualties or damage, said Jabbar Yawar, spokesman for Kurdish security forces in northern Iraq.

NEAR BALAD RUZ - U.S. forces killed 12 gunmen during an operation near Balad Ruz, 70 km (45 miles) north east of Baghdad, targeting members of a suicide bombing network, the U.S. military said.

BAGHDAD - Gunmen in three vehicles opened fire, killing seven people and wounding 16 others in Zaafaraniya district in southern Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb wounded two people in Karrada district, in central Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A Katyusha rocket fired at the Green Zone killed five people and wounded eight others in Kamaliya district, eastern Baghdad, police said.  Continued...
