(Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 12:00 p.m. EST on Sunday.

* BAGHDAD - One U.S. soldier was killed by a roadside bomb while he was on patrol in Baghdad on Saturday, the U.S. military said.

BAGHDAD - One U.S. soldier was killed when a roadside bomb hit his vehicle in northeastern Baghdad, the U.S. military said.

BAGHDAD - Gunmen killed a couple and their son and daughter when they stormed their house in the Talibiya district in northern Baghdad on Saturday, police said.

BAGHDAD - Gunmen kidnapped five women employees from the College of Languages in the New Baghdad district in the city's east, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb wounded six people including three Iraqi soldiers when it hit their patrol in the Qahira district of northern Baghdad, police said.

KIRKUK - Gunmen killed a man in a drive-by shooting on Saturday outside his house in central Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
