LONDON (Reuters) - Britain said on Tuesday that Moscow would have no justification for retaliating after the decision to expel four Russian diplomats from London.

"The Foreign Secretary has set out our position. No retaliation on Russia's behalf is justified," a Foreign Office spokesman told Reuters.

Russia said earlier on Tuesday it would make an "adequate and appropriate" response to Britain's decision on Monday to expel the diplomats following Moscow's refusal to hand over the main suspect in the murder of ex-KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko.
