Abandoning nuclear enrichment unacceptable-Iran

LONDON (Reuters) - Iran's main nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili said it was unacceptable to expect Tehran to abandon the enrichment of uranium.

"Iran is a member of the NPT (Non-Proliferation Treaty) which means it has the right to enrich uranium. It's unacceptable for Iran to abandon its right to enrichment when it is carrying out its obligations," Jalili told reporters.
