Chrysler U.S. August sales slide 34 percent
DETROIT (Reuters) - Chrysler LLC said on Wednesday that U.S. auto sales fell 34 percent in August.
The automaker's U.S. sales fell to 110,235 vehicles in August, from 168,203 vehicles a year earlier.
The company said it had 380,560 units of inventory, or a 93-day supply at the end of August, down 15 percent compared with August 2007.
