FACTBOX: Speaker lineup for the Democratic Convention

(Reuters) - Illinois Sen. Barack Obama will accept the Democratic presidential nomination at the party's upcoming convention in Denver.

The convention takes place during the last week in August. Here is the schedule as announced at this time.

MONDAY, August 25

Michelle Obama, the candidate's wife, will be the prime time speaker on the convention's opening day, which will focus on Obama's life story.

TUESDAY, August 26

New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, who narrowly lost the nomination to Obama, will headline a day devoted to economic issues.

WEDNESDAY, August 27

Obama's vice presidential running mate, who has not yet been named, will be the keynote speaker. National security will be the theme of the day.

THURSDAY, August 28

Barack Obama will accept the party's presidential nomination. He will give his prime-time speech at Denver's football stadium, Invesco Field at Mile High, to allow more than 60,000 people to attend.
