Ford to keep small-pickup plant open for 2 more years: report
(Reuters) - Auto company Ford Motor Co plans to keep open a small-pickup plant in St. Paul, Minnesota for another two years due to consistent demand for the vehicle, the Wall Street Journal said on Thursday, citing two people briefed on the plans.
The Ford Ranger plant had been set to close in 2009, the newspaper said.
Ford is expected to announce this move when it reports results on Thursday.
A company spokesman did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
