GM U.S. May sales plunge 30 percent

DETROIT (Reuters) - General Motors Corp on Tuesday reported a 30.2 percent fall in May U.S. auto sales on an adjusted basis, led by a 39 percent decline in truck sales.

GM's overall sales fell to 272,363 vehicles in May from 375,682 in the same month a year earlier.
