"Friends" star Kudrow sued by ex-manager
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Lisa Kudrow may not be friends with her former manager, but she still has to pay him commissions, he claims in a lawsuit.
Scott Howard claims that the Emmy-winning actress failed to pay him commissions since she fired him in 2007. He is seeking damages of at least $50,000.
Howard became Kudrow's manager in 1991, before she hit TV gold with "Friends." During her 10th year on the sitcom, Howard and Kudrow agreed to halve his commission rate to 5 percent. Throughout her time on "Friends" and after, Kudrow paid all due commissions.
But since his firing, Kudrow allegedly has refused to pay Howard commissions for "Friends" or other work she did while he was her manager. Kudrow declined comment.
She is not the only "Friends" star entangled with a former representative. Matt LeBlanc's former business manager sued him last year seeking at least $1 million in unpaid commissions.
