NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - "Scooby-Doo" star Matthew Lillard is catching a wave to the 1980s-set teen comedy "Endless Bummer."

He will play a surf shop owner who helps a group of teens track down a prized stolen surfboard. Also on board are rocker Joan Jett and "Frasier" veteran Jane Leeves. Sam Pillsbury is directing the indie feature.

Lillard recently completed "American Summer," a comedy about a pool boy and gardener who take over a Beverly Hills mansion and become neighborhood pimps.
